I am 5'11" and weight 150 lbs...I am told i am skinny but my butt and thighs are bigger. Is this an average weight for my height because I feel that 150 lbs is a lot...

Hey your BMI is actually pretty normal- You're a tall woman so 150 isnt bad at all- and there is nothing abnormal about butt and thighs being a little bigger on a female. Everyone has a different body type- that happens to be yours.
I dont know how you look like- but for the sake of argument if you might have excess fat around your butt and hips. Its actually healthy fat. fat that gathers in the midsection is of more concern- that kind is developed by cholesterol

I would be a lot if you were 5'3, but you are a very tall girl. 150 is actually pretty thin because to calculate ideal weight you get 100 lbs for being 5ft and 5 lbs for every inch after that - so your ideal weight would be 155. Be ahppy...you're tall and skinny!

You're 71 inches tall and pretty much right in the middle of your weight class according to this chart.

But you also want to look at your Body Mass Index that's the fat to muscle ratio. That's the number which will predict your overall health prospects.

YES! Plus women look better with some butt and thighs. Have you really looked at the women who are skinny in these areas? They look like 13 yr. old kids!

i think you are a great weight for your height! stop worrying, you will know by your clothes if you are gaining weight, stop going by the scale i never do the scale thing. if you are happy with yourself and have no health problems your doing fine. according to the weight measure for the united states you are a great weight. believe you are great and project that attitude you will be even more attractive!
