Two thoughts on this topic.

If you're just comparing stomatal densities on upper and lower epidermis: mesophytes will have high densities on lower epidermis and very low densities on upper epidermis because mesophytes live where soil moisture is adequate (can afford many stomata on the lower epidermis, but won't have unnecessary stomata on upper epidermis where they will give up a lot of water to transpiration). Monocots have stomata on both upper and lower epidermis.

If you have to supply actual counts, you're going to have to make the slides and count them yourself. The slides are simple, simple, simple to make. Paint the area to be counted with clear fingernail polish and allow to air dry. (An area the size of a dime will be large enough.) Smooth a piece of transparent tape over the dried nail polish; pull up the tape and stick the tape straight onto a microscope slide - no need for water or a cover slip. Count the stomata per field of view. If you need a "stomata per square unit" area, do the proper calculations for the microscope you are using. If you don't know what stomata look like, look for the paired guard cells that surround each stoma. They pairs of guard cells look like rounded footballs while the epidermal cells look more like jigsaw puzzle pieces.
