I have heard there is a slightly different sensation but what exactly is it?

The foreskin is designed to enhance sexual pleasure. When an uncircumcised penis becomes erect, the foreskin rolls back over the glans and down the shaft of the penis. This rolling back of the foreskin exposes a primary erogenous zone of the penis, called the ridged bands. On a flaccid penis the ridged bands are located at the end of the foreskin where the foreskin begins to turn inward to cover the glans. The ridged bands provide sensation to the shaft of the penis, which would otherwise have little sensation. A circumcised penis has no foreskin, no ridged bands, and therefore little sensation on the shaft of the penis during erection and intercourse.

The foreskin is richly enervated, hyper-elastic, touch-sensitive tissue. During intercourse, the uncircumcised penis thrusts into and out of not just the vagina, but the foreskin itself, adding a whole nother dimension of sensation for both partners. Pleasure is enhanced for both partners because the glans of the uncircumcised penis is wet and is a mucosal surface like the inside of the mouth or inside of the eyelid.

In contrast, the circumcised penis has very little skin mobility and the glans has to do all the work to bring a man to orgasm. On a circumcised penis the glans is permanently externalized, making it dried and keratinized. Keratinized means that it is covered with a layer of dead skin cells, making it rough like the elbow and less sensitive that it would normally be. This is why a circumcised man has to thrust more vigorously during intercourse and with longer strokes. It is the only way to sufficiently arouse the rough glans of the circumcised penis to achieve orgasm.

On a circumcised penis the glans flares out more than the glans of an uncircumcised penis. This flared head usually does not increase pleasure for the woman, it leads to soreness and dryness. This is because the walls of the vagina are rather sensitive and because the motion of an extra-flared glans against the vaginal walls is rather blunt and can feel very chafing and scraping. In addition, the flared head of the penis pulls lubrication out of the vagina with the outward thrusts, leading to dryness pretty fast. So intercourse with a circumcised man requires lubrication to ease dryness and discomfort. With an uncircumcised penis, the foreskin again rolls back over the glans, cushioning the edge of the glans against the walls of the vagina. The uncircumcised penis is naturally wet and usually does not require the use of a lubricant during intercourse.

Because the uncircumcised penis has a more sensitive glans and has the additional erogenous sensations provided by the foreskin, its owner does not need to thrust as vigorously as the circumcised man. This means the uncircumcised penis can maintain closer proximity to the clitoral areas and G-spot area of the vagina during intercourse. This leads in no time to orgasm for the woman. To put it another way, he can “forget himself” during intercourse, and “do her”. A circumcised man HAS to thrust vigorously and with long strokes to achieve orgasm. By doing this he misses the clitoral and G-spot areas, which are closer to the opening of the vagina. A forskin gives a man more options for arousal and makes sex more varied.

The foreskin is an essential piece of sexual equipment. The high amount of erogenous nerve endings present in the foreskin communicate back to a man where he is on the road to orgasm. Without a foreskin, these channels of communication are gone, so in fact the circumcised man has much less control over the timing of his ejaculation and orgasms than an uncircumcised man.

A final note: all of the differences in sex performance between a circumcised and an uncircumcised man MATTER MUCH LESS when either man puts on a condom because the condom immobilizes the foreskin. However, even with a condom on, a circumcised man is still less sensitive on the glans than an uncircumcised man. And my friend Dan can tell you that.

How different does it make things if a man is not circumcised?

Most women prefer a man with a circumcised penis because it may move inside them in a less friction-based manner. Once he is inside the vagina, the circumcised penis may easily slide up and down to create pleasure for both partners.

There are several advantages for circumcised men when it comes to sexuality. First is that circumcised male have no need to worry about daily cleansing of his foreskin. Meanwhile, men with an uncircumcised foreskin must take special care to move it up and down and clean it inside its covered areas to avoid odors or serious infection because of material buildup. Consequently, there might be some bacteria and germs that could surface thus affect their sexual health.

Safe sex is an added concern for uncircumcised men and their partners. Men with foreskins occasionally have difficulty finding the right condom or keeping one on during penetrative sexual activity. That spells trouble in bed as well as generates unneeded anxiety.

As for the sensitivity of the penis, no medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site:

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays painless procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.

No difference at all. If you heard otherwise, it could just be a coincidence that a "different" time happened to be with an uncircumcised male. At the end of the day, it's not the tool itself, but the skill of the craftsman, that makes all the difference in the world. ;)

I prefer uncircumcised. One it means that my man is less likely to have infections, two that he and his family did not bend under the pressure and myths of circumcision and three I like it when the head shows itself form under the skin because of pleasure and stimulation. Circumcision is cruel and irrational. It's as bad for men as it is for women.

I've been with a couple of uncut guys and the sensation for me was no different during, but when manually or orally dealing with it you must pull the foreskin back.

I prefer uncut guys though, because they are more sensitive and so they seem to enjoy the stimulation more...and it's how the male anatomy is supposed to be...if foreskin were a bad thing, it would have evolved away by now...it looks kinda neat too :)

When he is erect, the foreskin is pulled tight so there is not difference for the woman. Uncircumcized men have a lot more sensation than the cut ones.
