Yep it applies to me too. I was born into sin and will die being a sinner. That's the reason Jesus Christ was sent down by God to pay the ransom Adam (our 1st father) had lost for his children so that we may be counted as righteous before God. Peace.

Nope. We may be constantly learning to be better people (hopefully) but the "slave to sin" thing sounds like a marketing tool used by religious institutions enslave their congregations.

yes, it is true, that when we have sin in our lives, we become enslaved by it, and the more we 'feed' it, the more we become bound... it is like a downward spiral away from the path of God...
