Romans 4

18Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."[d] 19Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. 20Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Abraham by faith believed God that he would have a son at his ripe old age of 1o0 plus years. His wife Sarah was 90 and she conceived by immaculate conception of the Holy Spirit. She bore a son named Issac.
Therefore Paul is writing to the Romans, telling them to have faith as Abraham had faith. The name Abram was given to him before he communed with God meaning "father of many".
God later named him Abraham, "Father of many Nations".

I have faith that as the word say man is LOST from Eden and in the process of being saved.
There will be a new heavens and some are for the new heavens, there will be a new earth and most are for the new earth. Man just LOST all perfect at Eden it has got to be made as perfect as it was. Adam's offsprings will be resurrected souls to see it.
All left standing at end of Rev.20:6,12,13; are SAVED.

Dear Ken,

Please read Revelation 19:11. "Faith" is a synonym for the Lord Jesus Christ. Now go to Hebrews 11 and every where you see the word "faith" insert "Christ". You can also examine this in the Gospels where Jesus heals someone. The King James Bible is the most accurate English version and so I highly recommend that you do all your studies in the KJV.

This is not reasoning at all. It's rhetical ramblins by some shewed old men who forced this upon an uneducated peasant societ who could not help themselves. This bible was created in a day and time and area when men and women were only a notch above the aminals they hereded for food.

That claims faith gives you a happy ending. The bible is just a fairy tail, a story book, and it is true that in stories faith leads to a happy ending. Unfortunately, this is the real world. Faith is pointless.

Assuming I get into a fight, and have faith that I will kill the other person and not die. The other person has the same amount of faith that he will kill me and not die. Who will win? Faith can't help you.

Awesome...

"PREACH THE WORD, in season and out...reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and doctrine; for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine...but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers telling them what they WANT to hear...." (2Tim.4:2)
