i have a 5 lb. bag of meatballs. how many jars of grape jelly & chili sauce should i use?

Grape Jelly Meatballs

Ingredients

2 Bottles Chili Sauce
10 oz Grape Jelly
3 lb Ground Beef


Instructions

Make meatballs (onion, catsup, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, eggs, etc.). Put chili sauce and jelly in pan; melt jelly well. Put in meatballs and turn occasionally. Simmer on low for 2-1/2 hours.

VERY VERY GOOD meatballs and it is a really easy recipe to

INGREDIENTS
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle chile sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
9 ounces grape jelly

1 pound lean ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 large onion, grated
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
Whisk together the chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly. Pour into slow cooker and simmer over low heat until warm.
Combine ground beef, egg, onion and salt. Mix well and form into 1 inch balls. Add to sauce and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Erica has the right recipe but i just frozen meatballs and just heat them through, then add the jelly, chili sauce and lemon juice.

I'd use twice the recipe she gave you for 5 lbs. of meatballs.

Don't knock these until you try them, they are absolutely delicious.

We call them Cocktail Meatballs. YUMMMMMMMO!

I never heard of grape jelly meatballs, is that any good. Chili sauce in meatballs. I use ragu sauce for my meatballs. I heard of people putting worchestire sauce with meatballs.

I use 1 jar of bbq and about 4 TBS of jelly with a smidge of brown sugar.

none! a much better recipe:1 1/2 bottles of chille sauce
1 jar apricot pineapple preserves,1/4 cp bourbon.

mix together pour over meat balls. then heat however you choose
