What do you think about my New Year's resolution - no dating for the next year?

I've made my New Years Resolution - I'm giving up on dating for the next 12 months.

I've had nothing but bad experiences this year - almost every woman I've met shot me down. I only went on 2 first dates this year, and not one second date.

In a real way, I've already stopped dating - but it was due to the women I meet turning me down. So, if the dating thing isn't working for me, maybe it's time to stop trying!

It might also be the type of women I pick - young pretty women with toxic personalities. I do tend to have bad judgement when it comes to females - a pretty smile, a big butt and a pair of 36C's do tend to blind me to a woman's inner character.

In any case, it feels like it's time to give it a break, at least for a year.

Any thoughts?

Well if you can handle it for a year without dating that's up to you. You sound like you just said your reasons why the dates aren't working out so why not change the way you look at a woman and maybe you'll get that second, third or fourth date and find you actually like these other women better then the ones you were picking before who never gave you a second chance. Who knows. ;o)

Never say never just plan to make more friends instead. May be you will end up as friends with someone who wouldn't normally be your 'type' and you will see what youve been missing. Worth a try eh?

i dont think this is a good resolution. maybe you should change your type a little bit because those girls can be bitches. you cant give up on girls, you just have to try hard to find the right one.

AS THA SAYIN GOES WHATEVER UR DOING WHEN THA NEW YEAR'S COME IN THATS WHAT U'LL BE DOING FOR THA REST OF THA YEAR,SO IF UR ALONE YOU'LL BE ALONE ALL YEAR. MATBE U SHOULD JUST HOLD OFF ON DATING.
