It depends on the type of hair you have or had. My sons hair grows very quickly and whenever he takes a break from chemo it starts to grow back again. So, I guess the answer is that this is a very individual thing just like everything else. The important thing to remember is that the hair loss is temporary and will grow back once the chemo ends.

My mothers grew back faster within 2 months beautiful with a product called Royal Jelly you can read about it on http://www.beeroyalproducts.com it is amazing she feels better than ever the chemo left her so frail and lifeless until she began taking royal jelly, it is truly a bargain in this site they have a large size that lasts 5 months I trust this brand because I tried a cheaper form and it looked watery the professionals at bee royal told me some companies add fillers and water to cut it down for more profit and sell cheaper , I only trust bee royal products they have specials all the time too

Not very long at all. My son was bald until his treatments went to 1 every 3 weeks. Then his hair really came back in quickly. He is almost 1 yr off treatment and has had 4 or 5 hair cuts!

It took me about a month to start seeing hair after my chemo. It was so soft, just like a baby's hair. I was very fine and VERY curly (my hair was not curly before chemo). I loved having hair, but I thought my hair looked like Will Ferrell's on "Elf" because it was a short curly little afro. HaHa!

But now, 3 years later, it has really straightened out a lot.

I had my last chemo Nov 3 and my hair is growing. I didn't loose all of it, but you could see through it. Can't do that anymore. However this new hair is growing in every direction. I call it Monkey Butt Hair. Better than no hair.

I think it was about 3 months before I felt ok about not wearing a bandanna. But I look back at those pictures where I thought my hair was getting long, and wow, it was still pretty short. Mine grew back very curly, but has relaxed in the last 2 years. It's so hard to wait for your hair to come back, I got really frustrated.

Mine took a few weeks. When I had chemo - i lost every hair on my body except a few pieces of my eyebrows. You will really enjoy that first haircut when it comes time. I think it took about 12 weeks before I was able to get a haircut.
