pretty easy. when u wear some clothing item of theirs, it convinces them that u care about them and do not want to hurt their feelings.
if u don't believe me, try not wearing their clothing and then see what happens

Because guys want to be able to say "That girl over there in my sweatshirt" or brag about you. Also it shows a this of liking someone. If you borrow someone some clothing you are saying "I like you" even if you dont want to say that.

It's cute and I have to agree with most of the rest, it is their way of saying "hey she is mine" also he might be trying to get your smell on his clothes, alot of people like the way their significant other smells and most men will not admit it, but sometimes they like to curl up with it at night, that is if you don't live with him....either way I love it, it is so sweet and cute.....and oh so normal

it could be a couple of reasons-- a way for them to show love, you know how guys love their possessions so they feel proud to see you wearing their "stuff"--or-- it could be another way of them claiming possession of you "that's MY GIRL, wearing MY JACKET

It's their way of commiting to u.They can't afford diamonds so that's wat they do. LOL They use that as a way of telling people that they're dating u.
