The lowest high temperature I've ever seen is in the mid-50's. It can get up the the 80's. At night, it will get to 32 degrees or even colder. It can also get very windy so batten down those hairdos. January and February are the raining months. It can go from 80 degrees one day to raining the next. The other posters have got it right-layers is the way to go.

Remember always wear sun protection: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen.

It all depends. If we have a Santa Ana wind Condition it can be in the 80's or even 90's whoopee. More likely it will be between 50 to 60 degrees. Sometime there can be a cold snap and go down in the low 30's. But theses are the extremes. But as a visitor be prepared for them Most likely be prepared for lows in the low 50's with highs in the 60's and low 70's. Be sure to layer and bring gloves and hats just in case.
