Hard to say, french accents are rumored to be the most erotic in the world. I'd say he'd be more irritated w/ ur naked pic on the web, every God-fearing christian knows that a beautiful woman lacking in discretion is like a fine gold ring in the nose of a pig.

No, not your accent but maybe it's your cultural differences that are getting to him. He was probably attracted to the accent but now is realizing that there are other parts of your french personality that he is having trouble with. If he seems annoyed with you now, don't marry him, it will only get worse.
