I have never painted a room kelly green and i never will. That would be really hard on the eyes looking at that bright green all the time. Try a light green of if you must, a dark forest or pine green, but please whatever you do, stay away from kelly green.

No but I have painted one green river by Behr paint at home depot but only part of the top part of the wall the bottom was left bright white.with white trim in middle to break it up. I did this on two walls and the rest was left white

Kelly green would be a little to much if in a whole room. If I was going to do it I would do Kelly as a base of a room and have white walls on the top.
Or just one wall of Kelly green as an accent wall.rest left white or beige. Hope this helps Diane

I would imagine it would look dark if you painted every wall Kelly green.
Good luck

Sure and it was a sight for sore eyes! Unfortunatley, it attracted every Irishman within 50 miles of Boston! lol
