If you are asking the question, the answer is no. Not because he isnt trustable, or worthy, but because there is a question.
Trust isnt black or white.. its a spectrum.
Every time you eat at McDonalds, or swipe your Visa you are performing an act of trust.
If there is a question, dont answer it stupidly and get your heart broke,or get a serious disease. Trust, like respect, is earned and not by words. It must be earned by actions.
Someone who is faithless in large things is also faithless in small things. You can watch him, especially during the first times you spend together, and look at his actions to see where he is faithful.

I would have to say that you should trust your gut. If you have known him since kindergarden then you should know him like the back of your hand. The only Question is not if you should trust him but also if all the rumers are true and if he would do somthing like that to you or not.

Your guy should be beyond reproach, if he's wanting to stay with a girl like you. So, if he's *not* cheating, he'd better come up with a way for you to see that he is above all that and that you are the only female that even crosses his mind!

Ask him why he has changed. If his answer is because I realize the pain that it causes, the guilt that I carry and the fact that even if I get away with it, it causes me to have distance from you, or something along those lines then maybe.
My line after having learned the value of fidelity is because it is hard enough to keep one woman happy, I don't need two to worry about.
If his answer is something like, "I just have" or something that isn't in depth, he is full of Sh&t.

I remember someone saying, "Once a man Lies(or cheats), He'll lie again." If he has a history of cheating, then i'd be extra careful around someone like that. This is just my opinion though. Take Care! :-)

Just knowing guys the way I do. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Then at the same time, people do change. Give him a chance and see what happens. If he cheats just once then ditch him.

Go find out from reliable sources such as your friends, or take the easy route and dump him then see if he comes back.
