1 - Because they're called young people. Young is the antonym of Old when you're speaking about age.
2 - Doesn't matter much to the cat since cats have 9 lives.
3 - Jewish people still believe in the old testament. You can swear on the book of your religion, if you choose or you don't have to even swear at all. For more information see this:

Many words can be rearranged. There's only 26 letters in the alphabet yet hundreds of thousands of words in the English language so of course you're going to be able to do that. Not only can the letters in teacher spell cheater, they can also spell hectare (metric measurement of an area, about 2.5 acres).
Adults aren't usually kidnapped, they're abducted.
