She kept telling me that she sees me as a friend, but I told her the same. Everyone is sure she liked me from the way she treated me. We talked all the time and touched a lot! Now, she has stopped doing all of the above because I have been avoiding sitting next to her and talking to her all the time. I like her a lot, but she probably thinks I do not. I was just abused as a child, and it is hard for me to feel and get close to her. How can I show her I like her that way?

You're holding back a lot from her (at least this is what it seems). I guess you have to open up yourself to her. Accept her. Don't try to please her and makes her thinks you care. Do care for her and love her as you want to. You have to leave your past if you don't want it to follow you to future. Your past doesn't exist anymore unless you bring it alive whenever you make yourself bounded to it. No one is stopping you now, it is you, yourself. If you were to lose her, you're responsible. You don't get to meet people whom you love that easily in life. Some people don't even get to meet their loved ones till they leave the world. You're given the chance to choose, to love and to care now. Why give it up? You know what you want, and you know you're just a word away from what you want but you refuse to go for it. I don't get it. Regret is more painful that lost. I hope you make a good decision and stay firm with it. Past will never come alive again. We'll be 'over-ruled' by dinasours otherwise. Come on guy! I don't want you to miss it though I don't know you.

buy her flowers and take her out somewhere. write her notes or poems. dont avoid her, sit next to her every chance you get and tell her what your feeling. if you tell her your problem it might clear things up for her but you dont have to tell her if you dont want because its none of her business. just ask her out to a movie or something and try flirting with her.
