Lots of people live in Morden & Merton borough runs some English courses. Try asking at the Library (in the Civic Centre, to the right of the station).
I don't live far away, but wouldn't have time to meet up. There are also English classes for the unemployed at Collier's Wood.
To find a flatshare in Morden, try Loot or Gumtree.

i know a few people who livearound there. europe's largest mosque is also in morden at 181 london road. you've got a great neighbour there!
it is open for the public to view it too. there are people there who can speak many different languages
