Do you know how to make floating lanterns?

I've seen them several times. The kind that you light and then they take flight? Made out of paper bags and candles I think, but if you know how it's done, I'd love to know!

We have made floating lanterns out of white paper bags and Styrofoam. The Styrofoam acts as a floating device and the paper bags keep the flame from blowing out.
Just cut the Styrofoam to what ever size your bag is, cut out the bottom of the bag and put the Styrofoam into the bottom, secure the bag with glue or staples.
