Chocolate and biscuits have sugar in common so perhaps you use up more energy than your main diet provides. The cocoa in chocolate also releases small ammounts of endorphins which act like pain killers and some believe are addictive. It is also said to create euphoria which is a high like some drugs provide.
Exercise and improved diet worked for me and my energy levels went up as well. Any addiction is dificult to shake so be kind to yourself and take it one step at a time. Try and be more active in your every day life and check with your doctor before taking any medical advice .
I wish you the best of luck.
Peace

Try sticking to this rule: eat anything you want AS LONG AS YOU ARE SITTING AT TABLE. So, no eating while watching TV, reading, sitting up in bed, sitting at the PC. So if you want a biscuit or chocolate or something, you have to put it on a plate, sit down at the table and eat it. Not doing anything else at the same time. Just eat it, enjoy it then leave the table. Don't confuse nourishment with entertainment. And don't buy too many chocolates and biscuits, of course, if they aren't in the house you can't eat them.

You must tell yourself to stop being greedy for a start. Chocolate is a treat and not part of your staple diet. Your body hates you for filling it up with junk. It hates you for making it fat and all the extra work it has to do to get rid of the poison.Ask yourself in front of a mirror what you are doing to yourself. Imagine the disgusting inside of your body fighting to overcome all the poison you are pouring into it. Imagine the tops of your legs in 12 months if you don't stop. You are addicted and you have taken the first step by admitting it. Now what you gonna do about it. You are going to stop it before it starts to do unrepairable damage to that wonderful body of yours. It is a sorry state of affairs when a bar of chocolate or a packet of biscuits tells you what to do. I am blunt but have only told you what you already know. Good luck.

Options hot chocolate is good if craving chocolate. Or buy really high cocoa content chocolate. I've not tried it myself but apparently it helps curb the craving & you wont want much of it. Grated chocolate also takes longer to eat so if you really need to give in then this way it'l hopefully satisfy the craving with a couple of grated squares rather than a bar.
I find though that if junk food is in the house, no amount of will power will last long enough & i eventually give in! So I try not to buy junk food.

Try adding more protein to your diet, it should reduce your craving for chocolate. Don't buy biscuits at all. If you MUST have chocolate and wish to treat yourself, eat a small piece of dark chocolate and you will feel sated faster. Dark chocolate in small amounts is also good for you. Don't go cold turkey, you'll only end up binging.

First of all, don't stop eating it. That will only make you want more and then you may binge which is definitely not good. Eat a small piece then go do something else. Call a friend, get out of the house, go walking, etc. Exercising helps because it makes you want to eat healthier and take care of your body. Remember don't cut it out drastically. And also, it's going to be there tomorrow. Eat a piece today and tomorrow you can eat a little piece too!

well you can't totally cut out chocolate if you constantly want it cuz eventually you'll crack and binge hardcore, so let yourself have 1 or 2 small (and I mean small, no full size candy bars) pieces of chocolate a week. Make sure the rest of the chocolate is out of sight and out of reach. Also, if u buy a bar of chocolate and feel like you're gonna eat the whole thing, invite a couple friends over and share it with them

The tips ive heard and do work are Paul Mckenna guide to weight loss it was on the telly not so long ago and he does a series of tapping and certain points of the body for a certain amout of times as soon as you get a craving you do this and it passes for a few weeks it weird but it does work.
Another one i heard i think it was lorraine kelly that does it she carries a bottle of vannila eccense in her bag and smells it every time she has a sweet craving.
But for me Paul Mckenna is the best bet i know he has a book with it in but would be better if you could get hold of the series I think it was channel 4 that showed it.

Well, when you go a day without eating a biscuit, treat yourself to a snack size piece dark chocolate. It's supposed to actually be good for you. Then you won't have to give it up completely and you're doing something good for yourself! (I'm an addicted chocoholic myself!)
