I live in Canada, and I was reading up on it earlier, and I read on one of the sites that 16 year olds have all the same rights along the sex boundaries, but when it comes to voting or drinking legally, my rights change. I want to know what you think about that.

Good. 16 year olds shouldn't vote or drink. It can get in the way of having sex.

In Canada, the young people do have a lot more freedom ( I enjoy going to the clubs in Canada because there definitely is less racism between age and color)
My opinion is that at 16 you are to young to date a 19 year old.
As a parent I would not approve.

I was 19 and went you with a 16 year old girl (In canada)
The legal age of consent is 14, unless the person is in a position of authority over you (like a teacher, priest, etc)...

Most parent would be concerned a bout your age difference right now,regardless of what the legality is. we worry about you getting prgnant too early, to be blunt. Like I said before, guy at 19 think about sex all the time . 16 is pretty naive.Sorry Grandma

It's possible. I live in Quebec and a couple of months ago and the provincial government was think of lowering the age of sexual consent from 16.... to 14.
