Yes, I believe in the power of prayer. I've had many trials and tribulations in my liftetime of 52 years, of all the things i tried to overcome these issues. Prayer was the main thing that helped comfort me the most.

Absolutely. Before I logged on I was reading a book on prayer.(R.B.Thieme,Jr.,Bible Ministries.com). I read about the procedures for prayer. I learned why prayer is not answered. I am always amazed at how my prayers are answered. I am not sure why I am amazed because I believe in prayer:). I know that we need to pray for our country.(USA) 2ND Chron 7:14. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will restore their land". Thanks for asking. Peace out.

Yes, I prayed to God that my uncle would get better so he could go home and not have to live in a nursing home, the next day he was feeling better than ever. That was also the same day I got stitches in my toe. Anyways, I believe God will answer your pray sometime, but not all the time, and will have you pay a price for it.

It depends on what you mean by the power of prayer.
The power to help someone else heal?

As a form of meditation I believe it does have a positive effect on the individual person.

Absolutely! God has always answered my prayers, and in most cases better than what I had originally asked Him for, because I aske Him for His will for me in my life and not mine.
Praise the Lord!!

I believe in the ONE that we pray too. He has the power. It never ceases to amaze me that we, His children, saved by Christ's shed blood can approach His Throne with confidence. The power does not come from the fact that we pray. It comes from the one that we pray too.
"It is not by might, it is not by power, it is by My Spirit, says the Lord."

Yes i do. When i was younger like 9ish my great grand mother was on her death bed and i remember my papa taking me to church, he brought me over to a place where you can write down a pray and it will be blessed and answered. it was and did! my great grand mother is now 97. maybe i was just young but it forever left an impression on my mind.

Without a doubt, however; it does not guarantee to go our way just because we pray about it.
