i have quicktime installed but if i go onto sights such as skysports and myspace if anybody has a quicktime video it doesnt work. it comes up with a "Q" and a "?" in the middle please help

Make sure you have the latest version installed.
After researching it, it seems that you have to go to control panel>quicktime>browser>MIME Settings>Miscellaneous>uncheck Flash Media, and make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW If that still doesn't help; first try, on the MIME Settings panel, Use Defaults. If that still won't work, try uninstalling/reinstalling quicktime and flash player

I am having the same problem. I cant even use my i-pod because of quicktime not working. I tried uninstalling it but now i cant even install it at all a different error shows up. Im gonna call up apple to see what they say. Hope u resolve the problem.

Uninstall It!
I was also not able to solve it ! And lastly had to uninstall it!!

Uninstall then reinstall,find any updates as well
