Believe it or not store bought products will probably make the situation worst. Your best bet is to go au natural. Blend together both lemon drops from yes the actual lemon and some plain yogurt and apply to face and leave on for 20mins. Then rinse your face off with cool water that should clear it right up. After your done rub an ice on your face to help tighten pores to prevent future blemishes. You should do this at least twice a week at night. You should also get into the routine of putting aloe vera on your face every night this helps reduce inflamation(pimples) and helps to reduce oil, and keep your face smooth.Good Luck!!!

there are a lot of prescriptions that work great. See a Dr. for these. There are topical antibiotics, or antibiotic pills called tetracycline. Use this in conjunction with a product with benzoyl peroxide - this is over the counter (used to be a prescription). For soft, shiny skin that helps with acne, and scars and fine lines is a prescription called Retin-A. It takes about 4 to 6 weeks before amazing beautiful skin comes through, but it is worth the wait. Be careful though about getting pregnant because Retin -A can cause birth defects if the mother uses it while pregnant.

If you are not into prescriptions, and want to do things naturally, do the following. Drink lots of water, stop eating junk food and greasy or sugary foods. I know this sounds odd, but stop eating any milk product - this really works - and the dairy industry is using its big money to keep this one hush-hush. Also, make sure you are getting in your healthy fats like nuts, seeds, salmon, and avocados. Dermatologists will tell you food has nothing to do with your skin - Don't believe it. They were taught this lie, just use common sense. Of course food has everything to do with the condition of your skin.

How To get Rid Of Blemishes (Pimples)

CLEAN! Get Glowing!
Wash your face with a gentle, oil- and fragrance-free cleanser; preferably a nondetergent one labeled pH balanced.
If you have oily skin all over your face, use a cleanser that contains benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid.
Don't scrub - irritated skin (Evangeline Lilly) swells around the pores, which can cause breakouts.
Skip toner unless your face is very oily, otherwise it might dry out the skin.

TREAT!
Apply a topical acne treatment containing benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid over your entire face, not just where blemishes have already erupted.
At night, use a drying spot-treatment product and dab oil-free moisturizer on dry areas.
In the morning, apply an oil-free sunscreen gel over the entire face.

CONCEAL!
Use a small makeup brush to dab concealer or cream foundation Evangeline Lilly (in the exact same shade as your skin) directly onto the blemish. Use a fingertip to wipe away excess concealer around the blemish and, if necessary, apply another coat of concealer.
If the makeup becomes cakey, carefully wipe it off and start over. gently brush powder (in the exact same shade as your skin) on top of the concealer.

Tricks Of The Trade:

* If you have oily skin and feel that you need toner, apply it only on the T-zone, and rinse it off afterward (leaving it on can dry the skin turn back the clock). Use a clay mask as often as every three days to absorb excess oil.

* To stop redness and swelling in an emergency situation (job interview, wedding), ask your doctor for a cortisone injection. It calms down a pimple almost instantly.

* If you can't get to your dermatologist (or needles make you squemish), temporarily reduce redness and swelling by dabbing on a drop of drugstore cortisone cream, Preparation H, or Vasocon-A eyedrops.

Sit back... this is a LONG answer, but I wanted to help you out! I know it can be frustrating. This REALLY works!! There are 4 people sent me an email saying to me that it worked for them!! This was also been chosen by over 12 members to be the best answer because it worked for them too!! Proof, read my best answers!

Gather all materials beforehand -- see "Things You'll Need" below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I'd recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can't just say, "Get out, I'm flattening a pimple," can you?

Things You'll Need
- 3 or more cotton balls
- Lukewarm tap water
- Cup to hold the water in
- Salt

The Method
1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!
10. Apply honey on the infected area & go to sleep!!

Tips
*Don't forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.
*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.
* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.
* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.

Warnings
* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to "pop" pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don't pop them.
* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

If you feel new pimples erupting, ice it! Hold an ice cube over the area for about 5-10 minutes. It REALLY works!!!

For acne scars,
1. Lemon juice is natural bleach and helps in lightening the scars and blemishes of the skin.
2. Rosehip seed oil is also another home remedy which reduces acne scars. It is mostly used in the cosmetic products and used for acne scarring, facial scarring, surgical scars, sun damage, premature aging, burn marks etc. This oil should be massaged twice on the acne scars daily.
3. Application of Aloe Vera gel/juice to the fresh wounds prevents the formation of permanent scars.
4. One of the home remedy is that ice cubes can be rubbed on the acne scars for ten to fifteen minutes.
5. Vitamin E is considered best for the healthy glowing skin. Application of vitamin E oil or capsule to the scar will completely vanish the scar in few weeks.
6. The most effective remedy for the scars is application of honey several times a day. It will give a natural glow to the skin and will remove all scars.

If you have too many pimples/whiteheads/blackheads/... I recommend you to try Carley's Clear & Smooth!! It's CHEAPER & BETTER than Proactive!! People are raving about this product!! Read their feedbacks/reviews!!

He just asked me to take ISOTROIN-10 for 2 months & thats it after 2 months not even a single pimple there after....
You may want to consult your doctor for ISOTROIN-10.
Hope this helps you.

Diet is a big factor, cut out the sugars, soda pops and fried foods, add more salads, vegetables and fiber. Eat avacado and bananas for their Vitamin E and B6 properties. Drink lots of water.
