I need a clear definition of transendent. My boyfriend uses it all the time and it drives me crazy. His ex made him feel this way, what can I do to help him feel this way again?

Transcendent means to go beyond the limits of ordinary experience. It means to lose oneself in an experience. Spirituality it means to drop the ego so that one experiences the true nature of BEING.

As long as your boyfriends thoughts and feelings remain with his ex he will find it difficult to have a transcedental experience with you. You are not to blame, it is up to him to "let go" and move on with his life.

I suggest you leave him with his silly fantasy and find someone a bit more connected to the now portion of reality.

His comments are foolish and insulting.
