Females are generally smaller than males:
Female Weight Rage=55-65LBS, Height=21.5-22.5 Inches
Male Weight Range=65-75LBS, Height=23-24 Inches

As far as temperament goes, I think males, in general, tend to be more friendly and outgoing than females. I've had 2 neutered males and they have been wonderful pets. That's my dog of choice, a neutered male Golden.

They fee extra for breeding purposes, yet whats unusual is they oftentimes ask extra for the female so im no longer too useful why they might fee extra for the male?? the two way its because of the fact of breeding purposes.
