I feel more sad for the peolpe masscared in Iraq by the invaders than Saddam's martyrdoom.Why is it so?

Poor people of Iraq.
Earlier they were killed by Saddam for he did not like people protesting against him.
Now the invaders are doing the same thing.
How sad I feel for the Iraquies!

If you are talking about the American led army, you have been reading Michael Moore's propaganda too much. It is sadly true that in any war there are casualties - which is a nice way of saying people die - and many of them are innocent. It has been true of any war. Even the war against Nazi Germany, which I think most people (except knee jerk unthinking pacifists) would support, involved a certain number of innocent people being killed.

However, anybody who makes an equivalence between the sad but unavoidable and unintentional deaths of people due to an army vs. the premeditated murders at Saddam's hands shows that they have lost their capacity for rational thought and that they need to stop reading the Daily Kos and moveon.org. Please, use the brain God gave you!

I do not believe saddam is any more of a martyr than hitler was. He was a tyrant that got what he deserved..in fact probably less than he should have gotten. Evil men cannot be in good conscience called martyrs. The true martyrs are the innocents whose blood he shed mercilessly in his terroristic reign. That should be who you shed a tear over if any one.
