Dear Icheeknows, I Hope I have understood your question properly, if your spaeking of God sending Jesus to be the only way to be saved and all others who remain without Jesus in thier sins going to hell, then yes, it is possible to logically think this. heres why........

Would you Consider yourself to be a good person?

Have you ever lied?
have you ever stolen something?
Have you ever looked with lust?
Have you ever used Gods name in vain?

you see, when we face God he will Judge us by the standard of the Ten Commandments, if you have said yes to the above questions, then by your own admission your a lying thieving blasphemous adulterer at heart. God is a Just Judge, and same as a civil court Judge is bound to make decision to punish those who have broken civivl law, God also must punish those who have transgressed his Law. he is angry at sin, God created us to be his image bearers, his represenatives to the world, and every time we lie, steal, look with lust ect, we not only transgress Gods law, but we also slander his name. hell is the place for those guilty of doing the above. I dont think anyone who is intellegent could sya that if they were in Gods shoes, they wouldnt be just as equally angry. but thier is good news, Jesus himself came and died on the cross for your sins, taking the punishment you deserve, you broke the law, and Jesus paid your fine, and if you will repent (turn from sin) and trust the savior, not out of fear of hell, but out of gratitude that he has died for you, then he will forgive you and grant you everlasting life.
God Bless

All you have to do is look at the history of the Inquisitions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inquisition and you can see that torture being justified in the name and ways of Jesus is not only possible - but has happened many times in history. What I am getting at here is that humanity can justify anything in the name of anything it people want to - this is not a comdemnation of Christianity - simply a statement of fact.

Good Luck!!!

Jesus did not ever speak of torture being right. HE was a MAN of peace. HE came, preached, taught, was tortured, crucified, prayed for those who were killing HIM, died, arose, and was taken into heaven to be our way into HeAvEn. We have an opportunity to be among the SaVeD because of HIM! Read, study, and obey HIS WORD while there is still time. Have a great weekend.

I don't think followers of Jesus would think that torture is the right way to go.

contained in the absence of any info for this God, we are able to really assume that one and all this nonsensical and inconsistent stuff about eternal damnation change into made up some by adult men. the real key's why diverse human beings might want to be so gullible or senseless as to have self assurance this nonsense.

Well yes if it is a law....He says to obey the laws of the land.
Lets say I stold money from someone and the country I live in has laws that they cut a hand off for stealing.
That would be justified.
I didn't obey the laws of the land.

torture is a major sin unto death. in my opinion.
but justification could mean saving the lives of many people by hurting one.
in war there are no clear cut laws of righteousness. sometimes its merciful to let prisoners live while at other times its better to slaughter everything.

Since Christ's Kingdom is not of this world, than the two are separate. It does not matter what human governments do, as they will all be destroyed.
