What has happened is that the spell has been broken, and that's a very hard thing to overcome, and I don't think you ever really can. The spell I mean is when you're a new couple and you think the other person is the greatest guy ever, and he's so devoted, and would never get mad at you or hurt you, and you feel like the most special person in his world. Then he does hurt you--the spell is broken. You know he can fail you-and has. If you want to continue your relationship with him, you have to either fully forgive, or move on.
Personally, once the spell is broken for me, that's the end. I only want someone in my life who I know will stand behind me no matter what.

Once you arrive at that point it becomes very difficult. You wouldn't want to continue that relationship into the future when things like marriage are considered because if you feel that way now it won't change with a marriage. What will change is that you will bring children into an already distrustful atmosphere.

This sounds like an example of where going to a psychologist and talking it over might help to clarify issues and suggest ways of dealing with the conflicting feelings, of loving him but resentment and wariness about his past failings. maybe both of you should go. a couple of sessions might be money well spent.

isn't he lucky to have such an understanding gf?!!
you, on the other hand, need to tell yourself that you deserve to be treated with respect and faithfulness. he has failed you on both counts.
find someone who is worthy of you.
walk away from him. i don't believe you will ever feel you can trust him, and that's not the way to be in a relationship.
he's just learnt that you'll be there for him even when he hurts you.

that is difficult --- he will prove it in time by staying with you and changing his ways ---- you dont have to give let him give to you
a bit of graffiti i saw will always stay with me --- learn to love like you have never been hurt before ---- without the vulnerability we are not able to love as deeply as we should because we are afraid of being hurt BUT its too late in most cases as you are so deeply involved you are going to get hurt anyway so why not just accept it and enjoy the feelings

umm... if i was in your situation then i would go up to him and ask if he really truely loves me. If he says yes then i'll be like prove it. If he says no i'd say " y did u say i love u then? u son of a **** ****. **** don't talk to me!" So he won't be hurting me and i'll be hurting him instead. Sorry about the *. Just don't want to swear. Good Luck!

tell him how you feel. if he doesn't respond in a positive way, then get rid of him. he has already cheated on you and other stuff. you may love him, but he may not be worth it.

Quit being stupid and leave him. If he's cheated once he'll do it again and again.
