There are so many on the market...you should stick with the same type that came with your camera.

Kodak makes some good rechargeable batteries.

You need to get the highest powered NiMH rechargeable batteries you can get (2500-3000mAh).
Or for non rechargeable...you should use Energizer e2 Lithium.

These give you a lot of bang for the buck. 2500 mAh, the highest energy rechargeable that I've seen.

Energizer Lithium. They work really great in my Mom and I 's cameras and they last long.
