Yes. annualcreditreport.com is a government sanctioned website, it's free, and it lets you get one free credit report per year from each of the 3 major credit bureaus. You can get your report online, or you can print out a form for mailing and receive each of your reports via mail, again, no charge.

Go to any of the 3 major credit companies - equifax, experian, and transunion (i think those are the 3). You are entitled to a free credit report from each one per year. Your credit score is not included in a free report though.

annualcreditreport.com - it's totally free no gimmicks the only thing that you would have to pay for is your credit score. It'll take you to all 3 credit bureaus, then you just fill your info in.
