I'm 42 Australian and I like this lady who is 26 and Chinese. I think she likes me. We flirt a lot via email, she carries it on but when I mention things that require an answer that would make her state her postion about us, she doesn't reply. but then when I don't push for an answer she gives an answer that is close to what I am looking for.
Is she just flirting or is she interested ?

Sounds like she is playing cat and mouse to me. I personally don't like the whole game playing, "chase me" thing. I prefer a woman who is upfront and open about her feelings. Just be careful not to get too serious with her., you may end up getting hurt in all of this. Maybe it's her age, maybe it's her personality but until you get to know her a little better, it's hard to tell. I wish you all the best in the coming new year.

You are old enough to be her father. There is 16 years difference in the ages. Have you two met? Or are you just Internet friends?
Quite a few obstacles to be pursuing this relationship.

If she won't answer your questions about her position with you, then no, she's not interested. She's just flirting. Don't push her into anything, you'll both be miserable for the rest of your lives.

people play on the internet you know she is e-mailing many others.so play back.it's not like really dating someone until you meet for real then you decide whether to commit yourselves to each other. age has nothing to do with it either.but if she's not opening up to you then it is very unlikely she is interested in anything other than playing on the net.

if there is something there then you will be able to feel it ---- said with great confidence as my lady is much younger than me (im 54) and she has been very hurt in the past but i do feel her love for me --- it could be she is wary that it is just an online fling for you and does not want to commit until there is something more concrete
