well if your looking for a more of a off-roading car that car probebley couldnt make it up a curb nd survive. u need a wrangler for off-roading or a loredo. However the grand cherokee is the ultamite town jeep, i had one, it was pathetic even with a turbocharge and mideum airlock shacks it stunk, but it makes a nice boring town car. who knows some other people might like it thats just my thought on it.

What year is this jeep? Jeeps either have a 2.5L 4 cylinder a 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder, 4.7L V8, 5.2L V8 or 5.9L v8. Any of those engines are good but since your is a grand cherokee you either have a 4.0 or one of the V8 engines. Grand Cherokee's are pretty nice trucks, and they do pretty well offroad even though they weren't built for it. They are pretty reliable if taken care of i.e. regular oil and filter changes, and any problems fixed immediately.
