It's possible to lose 5-10 lbs. per week (mostly water weight) doing rigorous tae bo and moderate dieting (i.e. no breakfast, ~100 calorie lunch, 3/4 to whole dinner).
When I'm in a pinch for time to lose weight, I do a 30 minute advanced tae bo thing in the morning and a 30 minute abs workout in the evening. Throughout the day, I climb stairs to get where I need to go, and while I am standing around doing nothing, I use my abs to swing my body back and forth. Looks stupid, but it works for me. Last time I tried, I lost 5 lbs., but that is because I already workout 30 minutes a day. With people who don't usually workout, 10 lbs. or more is possible because of the water being lost.
As a warning, all this will make you dead tired and probably in pain by the end of the week. I recommend Excedrine for muscle pains. Excedrine is actually a combination of aspirin, Tylenol and caffeine, which is why it should be taken after meals (aspirin + caffeine are harsh on the stomach, and with some people, may cause stomach bleeding). It's advertised as "The Headache Medicine", but I find it really numbs out muscle pains.
Good thing the cram dieting days are over for me now that I'm engaged to a woman who loves me for who I am. :D Good luck to you! XD

The best way to lose fat is to run....run....run. More than any ab crunches you will see the result as soon as you start running/jogging daily. But you should be genuine urself and do it on a regular basis. Start with running atleast 5 Km and extend it slowly up to 10 kms. Beleive me that 10 Km can be covered by a normal person provided that he has the will and i do it daily. Instead of doing rounds/laps go for cross country as you won't be bored that way. Try to run until you are most exhausted..... If you are not ready to do this you miss the best way

There is NO FAST way to loose belly fat.
Control your carb and sugar intake and
do 3-5 sets of 10-15 "crunches" (modified sit-ups)
each day. If this is too easy for you, increase
your number of reps. Good luck!

crunches and sit ups but you must be persistant and do more each time you do them. You also need to drink lots of water. Dont mean to put a damper on it but if its flab after having a few babies it could take a lot longer.
