If the vet said it was fine I would believe the vet. My Saint pup maked a lot of noise at night. She still tries to suckle while asleep.

Bless your heart for being so concerned. Sorry you lost your former puppy.
This one is dreaming that she is still with Mommy and wiggling to get to the teat and sucking the milk.
Keep the vets phone number handy and call them often until you feel better, you are just going through a normal process of relearning what a healthy puppy is like, compared to your sick one. And it is really hard to know if they are alright. I'm sure you have some unwarranted guilt affecting you from your last pup.
It wasn't your fault! Just love this new little girl and all will be fine.

Nothing to worry about, the puppy is dreaming, probably chasing cats in his dream. They whine, bark, twitch and move the legs like they are running. Just dreaming. Have fun with your pup.

Honey have you taken this pup to a vet. All new pups should be checked out. Otherwise pups make sucking sounds and do other peculiar things till they forget there mommies and usually their siblings and nursing and curling up together.

She is dreaming, not to worry. The sucking that she is doing is also normal. She will be dreaming about suckling on her mother. It is a comfort thing for them. Just like a baby sucking on a soother.

It sounds like she's just dreaming. If you've taken her to the vet and everything has checked out, then I wouldn't worry.

my chocolate lab chewed her lip in her sleep. Its a thing puppies do. When you say died from "it" whats it? your puppy died from dreaming? You need to provide a few more details.

She does not have distemper. Dogs just as people dream - they also get hiccups like people.
