London's west end is basically the tourist area of london. You can't really compare it to broadway as broadway is just a street.
The west end contains theatres, restaurants, shopping and pretty well all the sites that tourists come to see.

If you do want to make a comparison to New York...then the west end is to manhattan, while the east end is to queens.

The West end is very much Broadways equal these days. It is the best equivalent in the world. But these days the West end shows tend to be more original than Broadway ones, and offer more variety. Or at least this is the opinion held by many in the theatre business in London and New York.

London's street gadget became magnificent, yet then got here alongside a stupid moron referred to as Ken livingstone and he placed an end to all of it. i'm merely happy that he can no longer replace the history of London, in any different case we will all be residing in buses.
