broadway makes me think of the theater, watching people perform and sing their hearts out. no, to me it does not mean the same as 50 years ago because 50 years ago people probably got very dressed up to go to the theater and only very upper-class people probably got to go. today, people don't treat it as such a novelty.

It means exactly what it says - bright lights, fantastic shows, memorable after theatre meals. I've seen 'Mama Mia' and 'The Producers' on Broadway in the past 18 months and it was all unforgettable.

Well, when I was younger I associated it with theatre, but now I associate one end of it with a Korean section that has great food and a stationery store I love, and the other end with theatre. In between, it's associated with sore feet ;)


For me, it's changed significantly since being there so often now.
