Kangaroos from Australia;Alpacas from south America;Penguins from Antarctica;polar bears from the Arctic?
How did Noah get them to Israel/Palestine or whatever it was called then...and how did he get them back?
I realise that this story is only supposed to be a symbolic representation but how do the people who believe in it literally ..explain these anomalies?

Oh yes carbon dating does work but it seriously pi**ed off the cattholics because it proved that the Turin shroud was made at around 12th century...so what did they do...say it does n't work.
I do believe in God but not the literal wording of the bible.
eg..Adam + Eve = Cain + Able
Able died,Cain went out and found himself a wife...who were her parents???
We should be told but we 're not.
The more you try to insist that the Bible is literally true the less chance you have of convincing people about God.

There is no reason whatsoever to assume that the flood of Noah covered the entire planet, or that he gathered exotic animals from all over the earth. The Hebrew text could just as easily be translated that the flood covered the entire region (or county, area, ground, plain, etc.), and that Noah gathered only the domestic animals known in that region (two of every domestic animal, and seven of those that were fit for sacrifice). The Biblical story of Noah fits the time frame for a flooding of Mesopotamia and the decline of the Sumerian civilization around 2500 BC. A destructive local flood at that time is described in Babylonian texts, and Josephus records the Jewish tradition that the flood was local. The only reason people believe otherwise is because 18th century scholars tried to tie all the nations of the earth into the descendents of Noah before they understood the linguistic connection between various Indo-European tribes.

Perhaps the world was a different place before the flood ?
Perhaps the cataclysmic forces released by the flood altered the world and it's climate ?
Perhaps they were already there ?
Have you never given any thought to these things ?
Try reading the original source, Genesis 6-8. Consider 6/17, 7/9,11,15,21-22.
Ignorance is a weak and foolish thing to hide behind.
If you do not understand and say that the account is a symbolic representation, then you are calling God a liar. Do you know what you are doing ?
Are you really saying that you are wiser and cleverer than the God who made all things in heaven and earth and Who sustains all ?
To be consistent, do you also think that children who cannot find their own way home should be in charge of navigating an aeroplane ?
Ignorance is also a very humbling condition but man's pride hates to admit to it.
Does 2 Peter 3/3-9 apply here ?
And Matthew 24/37-39 ?

The Bible does not list the names of every creature on the Ark. It does say that one set of every kind of air-breathing animal was on board (Genesis 6:19-20, 7:15-16). So, dinosaurs must have been included.
There is evidence that dinosaurs lived after the Flood. For instance, Job saw "behemoth" after the Flood.
Behemoth is the name of a creature mentioned in the Book of Job, 40:15-24. In Hebrew it can be rendered as בהמות, Bəhēmôth, Behemot, B'hemot; in Arabic بهيموث (Bahīmūth) or بهموت (Bahamūt) .
The word is most likely a plural form of בהמה (bəhēmāh ("animal")). It may be an example of pluralis excellentiae, a Hebrew method of expressing greatness by pluralizing a noun; it thus indicates that Behemoth is the largest and most powerful animal.
Metaphorically, the name has come to be used for any extremely large or powerful entity.

first of each of the Armenian dig web site of Noah's ark is searching %ninety 9 particular that its Noah's ark. #2 is the searching that Noah apparently used round formed smaller vessels in tow to carry resources the remains of two of them are on the point of the dig as to did the ark include each favourite animal and insect? No merely the animals of the area in my opinion. yet many different peoples have flood hero's also its in all likelihood that god had human beings in different factors of the global doing what Noah did.the bible really speaks of the 8 that went on to change into isreal did Noah bypass to the north pole to round up polar bears? Use instantly ahead experience right here! The ice poles in no way were given coated and why? Ice floats! honestly thousands of ice islands gave secure haven to those animals

The Alpacas and Kangaroos were brought back by Noah, the penguins would have been hard to get back because sailing round the arctic is hard enough, not to mention doing it on an old school ark. The penguins just chilled (get it...chilled) on a glacier for 40 days. When the water rose, the glacier rose.

feeding and cleaning Boo Boo for over 100,000 species of anamals would be a hard job for 8 people.
Someone told me that all the animals were babies and in hibernation for a year. God gave him all the animals. And either the Dinorours died in the flood or they were here between the 1st and the 5th day of creation - before man was here. And if you tell them that Dinosours were here millions of years ago then they will tell you that there is no way to proove that and that carbon dating does not really work. So on and So on.... And they will really believe what they are telling you maks since.

It took Noah more than 40+ years to complete the building of the ark, gather all the animals and preach of the coming flood. Also his family aided in the construction of the ark and animals.
If the account of Noah is symbolic to you, then that must mean that someone is preaching about an up coming destruction of wicked people ("Armageddon") and the rest of the world are ignoring whomever is preaching about the coming "flood" and maybe only 8 people will survive ("Armageddon")? Well you might be on to something.

This is not make believe. God instructed Noah to take along "every living creature of every sort of flesh" into the ark, 2 of each kind(animals classified as clean were 2 be taken in sevens) in order to preserve them alive. Male and female as u already know. so this command engulfed all living creatures at that time, including all the different kinds of flying creatures 2 the domestic animals "according do their kinds" and all the moving animals moving on the ground which may have included creepy crawlies(insects). so it is likely such amimals you have cited were among these creatures, if they were in existence at that time. He was also told to take along food of all kinds that were edible, 2 sustain Noah, his family and the animals. indeed, there could also have been a possibility of preserving those that were not perishable 2 be used to grow food after the water deluge.
Noah had no control over the ark. the ark was not a high-tech ship that could be steered. Rather according to the measurements given in secular manuscripts and the bible, the ark would have looked like a simple rectangular cube. it moved according to the current of the water. the ark settled on the mountains of Ararat as the waters receded.
God then commanded Noah to go out of the ark with his family, and to bring out "every living creature and every moving animal...as they must SWARM in the earth and be FRUITFUL and become MANY on the earth". this instruction shows the wisdom of God, making sure that MALE and FEMALE were preserved alive in order for them to reproduce, become multitudes and spread all over the earth to their respective climates and natural habitats. And so there was no need for Noah to send them back to Israel/Palestine, in fact they were already in the southern part of Israel.
Just think of it in this way. How did there come 2 be so many different races upon the earth? Yes Noah and his family were also commanded to be fruitful.
Indeed this account is not a myth. For even Jesus Christ referred to the days of Noah, explaining that his presence would be marked by the attitude of complacency portrayed by the people living in Noahs day(READ Matt 24:37-39.)
So Noahs account is not mythical or symbolic.
I hope that explains your question. You can do additional research to help satisfy the answer to ur question.
Thanks for ur well thought out question.

I believe it has to be taken as a story as well. However, people I know who literally believe it have told me that they explain it as a miracle. According to their beliefs, God called the animals to come to Noah. And after the ark landed, God protected them as they went about returning to their lands of origin.
There's no use in trying a conventional explanation, they say, this was a special act on the part of God, and therefore, can be explained in no other way but as a miracle. And, as they point out, the nature of a miracle is "the suspension of natural laws by divine fiat."

Come on God can make it rain for 40 days and 40 nights but can't get the animals to cooperate?
My guess is he told the animals that needed to go where to pick up the boat ride and the animals obliged.
