Not sure what you are asking. Diabetes like any other disease is managable as long as you look after yourself and control your blood sugar through, diet and taking your insulin. You should set up a diet with a diabetic educator, your doctor should be able to get you in to see this person. They will help select a diet for you and help you make the right choices when dinning out and even going to fast food resturants. You and your doctor should set out the insulin dosages and the testing of your blood sugar at certain intervals. You should have regular check ups and for any injuries to yourself you should consult your docotor to ensure it heals well.

I am type 1 and I have days where i drop down to the 50's and go upe to the 200's +. At least once a week I hit the 200 mark and below the 60 mark. But for the most part I am in the 110 to 120 range. My a1c is almost always 6.1
