If you have enough drivers, do a scavenger hunt. After one or two hours teams will return to your house and turn in their items. Have a BBQ and determine the winner.
You can do tangible "Things" that are worth a certain number of points. For normal scavenger hunt things like paper clips and old movie tickets and a garden tool from the neighbor, those can be 1 point. More difficult things can be 5 points. Include things like an autograph of the high school quarterback or cheerleader, or their mother. The convienence store clerk with the longest name, or the nametag of an employee at a local restaurant. A little more racy, but coukd be fun would be the sexiest pair of boxer shorts or underwear from a neighbor or someone that you know from high school.
You could also get a disposable camera, digital, or polaroid for each team and have them get pictures developed at 1 hour photo or on a computer and then share the pictures and stories back at the BBQ. Include things like a picture kissing a handsome stranger (the group can vote how many points depending on how handsome), a picture of each team showing their "hooters" in front of a Hooters restaurant, a picture of how many people they can get in a phone booth (one point per person), or all members of a team posed in crowns from Burger King.
Be creative and have fun.

My daughter had a Treasure Hunt that landed everyone all over town.
There were 8 friends and (in pairs) they had 90 minutes to find numerous items throughout town. They went through the neighborhood door to door explaining what they were doing and what they had to find. They asked each house if they had clothespins, blue paperclips, pink rubber curlers, grocery receipts, hair nets, 4th of July Sparklers, they asked people to take their picture w/them, etc....They also went into businesses to get a jar of grease, a napkin, a receipt from receipt book.
They eventually met at Applebees, had dinner and a great time.
The winners each received a $10.00 Starbucks card-
They had a great time!!

Do a makeover party! Have everyone bring mascara, blush, toenail polish, cheap jewelry, scarves, whatever. Guys can bring hair gel or something. Doll everyone up and take glamorous photos. Also, bring lots of party snacks. Maybe you could do a sleepover and make pancakes together in the morning. Also, rent a couple of movies for backup.

Yep I like the bowling idea. You can also go ice skating or indoor roller skating, or go to an amusement park.
