Lucifer is a created angelic being (a cherub)(see Ezekiel 28:13-19 and Isaiah 14:12-15), and Jesus is not in the created realm, He is the Creator.

By Colossians 1:16 we know that Jesus created all things, including angels. In the Jewish vernacular of the first century "thrones," "powers," "rulers," and "authorities" were used to describe different orders of angels (see Romans 8:38; Ephesians 1:21; 3:10; 6:12). The phrase "all things" means that Christ created everything in the universe. Everything, whether it be simple or complex, visible or invisible, earthly or heavenly, was created by Christ, and that includes Lucifer. Jesus is not the spirit brother of Lucifer, He created Lucifer.

The book of Mormon is in direct contradiction to the Bible, therefore the mormon book is a separate book from the Bible and a non-inspired book.

One must ask what Jesus do you worship, and put all your trust along with salvation in?

Actually, Joseph Smith didn't say this, not directly anyway. Mormons believe that although the bible is true, it is incomplete in that many writings that could have or should have been included were lost or destroyed. Some of these books are called the “Apocrypha” Although we know what some of these books are no one actually has them. The point is that Mormons Believe that that there are many prophetic writings that no one has, but they do have what is called “The Pearl of Great Price”. Basically it is the Book of Mosses and Abraham among a couple other writings from Joseph Smith himself. The passage you’re looking for is Mosses, chapter 4 where it describes “How Satan became the devil.” I won’t quote the verse but the book of Moses comes from “An extract from the book of genesis of Joseph Smith’s translation of the Bible. Don’t get me wrong the King James version (not the Joseph Smith version) is used.

Satan was an angel before his fall and Jesus in heaven is the Archangel Michael, so before his fall, Satan and Jesus were brothers, sons of the true God. Fittingly, it was Jesus, Michael the Archangel, who cast Satan and his demons out of heaven, upholding Jehovah's sovereignty.
