Maybe not heaven...but perhaps to another place where pineapples are inserted rectally every evening at 6pm. But no I don't think that's heaven...
Oh and another thing..people who say if he "accepts Jesus Christ as his lord and savior then he goes to Heaven" who are you to say that anyone can and can not got to Heaven? Honestly. It must suck not to be God's chosen people.

Hm, it's funny. Everyone here seems to have their own definite, absolute judgements...but I thought the judgement rested with God.
To answer your question, I'm not a Muslim, and I'm not familiar with the idea that if a Muslim dies on such a day, (s)he will go to heaven. This doesn't sound like anything I've heard, but maybe just a tradition instead? (Please correct me if I'm wrong).

I believe that he is in purgatory, purging his sins against humanity, along with his terrorist brother-hood members.
I have read some of the Rosicrucian teachings, and believe that we will all endure purgatory, some will stay a short while, some will stay longer...
I believe that we are all reborn, and "karma" is a cosmic debt or surplus that we have stored up for ourselves...
HIs debt, the same for Hitler, Pol pot, and scores of others of their ilk will be brought to bear in a future life, where he can physically and emotionally feel the same things that he gave his victims in this life...

Not personally being there we can only guess what Saddam's last days consisted of. In traditional Christian teaching we are taught the only way to Heaven is through Jesus which is my belief.
I only hope he repented of his sins & made it to Heaven through his belief and teachings which I know little of. But it is done now, he is dead and the world will go on and heal from his aweful attrosities against innocent humanity.

i think they timed the hanging to occur BEFORE the start of Eid.
as for whether or not Saddam goes to Muslim paradise. well, how can anyone know the strange will of that desert deity? if Allah/Yahweh can consign most of the world's population to eternal torture for not being his worshipers Saddam might not be a bad guy in his eyes. as one torturer to another they might have fun talking shop.

The idea that dying on a certain day will take you to heaven... no matter what type of person you are or what you did in your life... seems to underline how rediculous religion is. Doesn't it? Do calendar days here on earth really matter to this God? I don't get it!!!

Sweety we all make mistakes, and sometimes there a prices to be paid for his wrongs doing. He deserved to go straight to hell. I hates a man who,s is a cowards and kills innocent peoples to remains powerful. Americans, richs, and famous have problems, but they don,t go out killing innocents lives. Saddam rotts in hell, cause God doesn,t want you to take over Heaven!

Doesn't matter when they execute Saddam. If he died, not believing that Christ died FOR his sin debt to God, his never dying soul will fall into a timeless eternity of a sea of fire.
Christ's death, his very blood shed and poured for our sins on a cross was the only way to pay for the sins we've done to separate our sinful rotten miserable lives from a righteous perfect sinless God in the heavens.
The moment you believe that and TRUST that to be your only ticket in, is when it doesn't matter when your ticket's punched. Your time's up. Your number's expired. You could die on the holiest of holy days or the worst day of the Jehovah Witness calendar....if you die believing Christ paid for your sins.... you'll be quickened and given citizenship into heavenly places.
If Saddam (or ANY living or breathing soul who passed away EVER) died not believing and not trusting in that...he's melting away unwanted pounds right now, if you know what I mean....
By grace are we saved through faith...not of ourselves."

He died minutes before the feast of Eid. Symbolic of his failure as a follower of Islam and leader of the Islamic people under his leadership.
He could attain heaven if only he repented of his sins, and proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
My guess is that his arrogance did not allow humility before the Lord God.

Saddam is most likely, just like on South Park coincidentally, in HELL, regardless of what day on the Muslim calendar he died on.
