My son will be turning one in March and we would like to have a birthday party for him. Unfortunately there are no kids around his age, so it will be mainly adults celebrating. Any ideas for a place around Champaign, IL will be appreciated!

Does your McDonald's have a party room? The adults could endure a meal there and your son could get a happy meal.

Chuckie Cheese is kinda silly for adults, but your son would probably love it.

I'll bet you are snowed in about now. I lived in Peoria for 39 years. Now retired to Sunny Alabama, but this question sure made me homesick. I'm sure whatever you choose for your Son will be fun.

I'm not familiar with the Champaign area, but I think it's always nice to have a first birthday at your own home. It's just more intimate and personal. You can decorate how you want, and have your friends over. Make some interesting appetizers and a cake. And as he's just turning one, I'm guessing your son will appreciate being somewhere familiar too!
