Here is a great way to feed your friends and its really cheap. Plus, it looks so appetizing. Buy a big bag of dollar rolls. They are little dinner rolls basically. You put those in a nice basket or platter. Then you take some sliced meats, turkey, roast beef, ham....whatever, put the meat on a plate and garnish with leaf lettuce. (Put the lettuce down first, then lay the meat on top).
On another tray you lay out some cut onions, lettuce, tomatoes and slices of cheese. Decorate like the meat tray. Tell your guests to make their own little sandwiches. It looks like a million dollars worth of food, but its not. Any idiot can throw out chips and dips.....I like to feed my guests good food. If you have enogh money, you can make a nice fruit tray doing the same thing. As far as the meats go....you can just serve turkey like I always do. Have a great New Years!

I think a veggie platter ( celery, broccoli, cauliflower, tomato wedges, mini carrots, bell peppers etc.) with a couple of dips-buy in the store or look up recipes online, would go over well. Cheese tray with crackers is also good. Simple is best. Especially for the cook/hostess. They can be prepared ahead, covered, and refrigerated. Fruit can be cut into bite sized pieces and arranged on platters as well. All of these are great with drinks or cocktails at a party.

How about chili dip! It's incredibly simple to make: Just take a cube of cream cheese and a can of chili and microwave them together until the cream cheese is melted. Then stir the mixture and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Serve with tortilla chips. It is so good!!!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMmlT

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

*Fresh bakery bread. Slice and cut in half(bite size portions) spread a good bleu cheese on it and top with thinly sliced pears. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is brown. Quick and delicious. Good cold too.
*Olive and pickle tray, try some spicy aspuragus sticks ,pickled green tomato etc..
*Knors veg. soup mix(dry) follow dip direction for veggie crudite.
*Marinate cut of beef(strip etc.if cost is a factor) in Allegro for about 2 days. Score the meat. Grill or flash broil to med. rare. Slice on bias, serve with rolls and horseymayo and spicy mustard for a zesty hearty app.
*Duncan Hines Turtle Brownies. Undercook them for chewy goodness. Let cool, cut, place on serving tray. drizzle with Chocolate. Serve with Baileys . Also Strawberries or Raspberries on the side.
*But most of all relax and enjoy. Your friends will appreciate that more than the food.

Take a brick of cream cheese. Pour salsa over it and serve with chips. OR pour raspberry preserves over it and serve with good crackers. For more zip, add some jalapeno to the preserves for a sweet-hot elegant spread. Simple!
