One of my co-workers told me that 919 women die each year from oral sex worldwide. I can't see how this could be possible. It just seems crazy.

i dont think a women could die from oral sex since the gag reflex would kick in and she would just not keep it in her mouth and since no part is going to fall off it then nothing would be left to block the air way hence no chocking.
even in a case of rape i think it would be impossible to choke on the real thing as i am sure any woman knows if they dont want it and really want to get rid of it for good just bite down and poof that one is gone.
as for the *** it is possible that it could go down the wrong passage and enter the lungs . only a small amount of any liquid is needed to cause big troubles in the lungs but i think the number of woman dying from this would be very low . i think the number would be much less then the total number of people men women children that choke and die from just drinking some water or other liquid. most people have had water go down wrong and end up coughing and so on and sometimes it feels like your going to die but really die i think that could happen only if the person continued to have trouble and did not manage to get the fluid up and instead of going to a hospital or just calling a medic both are able to use a sucktion device that would solve the problem and both can insert an artificail air way so again in order to die from oral sex the person would have to be off in the woods away from any roads and help have really bad luck. and have a man that is stupid enough not to do anything to help her.
there is death from virus but that would be as an indireact result and i know that would be be sighted as the cause of death

Any open ended statement like that is basically false without more details.
The world is a big place and lots of people die in lots of different ways. I heard that a certain number of people die every year from testing 9 volt batteries on their tongues! True, but rare.
Un-careful passion can certainly could cause death but I believe it is rare (I know I can get pretty careless at certain moments but I have not left anyone dead yet...). Accidental death by suffocation happens in less likely circumstances than during sex so why the shock?
That is assuming it was entirely accidental (auto-erotic asphyxiation is not just for singles anymore). Unfortunately many people take risks for thrills during sex but even they manage to survive most of the time.
I do not even like to think about intentional violence. War time atrocities and back-alley horrors, not mention religion sanctioned abuse, but some of those could have been reported as "willing" participants by "witnesses".
Humans can put up with a lot of use and abuse. Eventually we all die.
(Now why do I suddenly have the urge to go down to the video store...)

No, I've never heard of this. The only reason someone would die from this is possibly a failing heart. If this were the case, the new would have reports all over the place and papers and magazines would have articles galore.

Do you mean they die giving it or they die receiving it? Maybe in a freak accident a woman could choke on a penis and die if she were giving a guy oral. If she was receiving oral maybe she could have a heart attack from the excitement?

since you offer no further information I can say yes. HIV is contracted through oral sex. Not to mention all the other sexually transmitted diseases you can get. You should practice safe sex and you and your partner should be tested.

Yes you can die from it... It is called sexual transmitted diseases
or STD.
You won't die from it immediately, only slowly...depending on the disease.
But be reassured some are treatable.
