Ok from the answers I've read... ya'll are on point... disappointing but true. I spoke to him last night... and he had a list of excuses... parents...school...not enough money...when a guy is ready ... it really doesn't matter what is going on outside of the relantionship..he doesn't want to lose the girl...sad but true ...he got ...I gave all the benefits of being in a relantionship without it being defined as one... it still hurts though regardless... in the begining i was cool but then over time things change and you realize you want more....i'm moving on

Usually it means he just wants to have sex and be able to look for and have sex with others at the same time.

There is a whole list of reasons why. The first being that maybe he doesn't like you. The second being that he recently was heart-broken and he doesn't need more disappointments, or that he is very busy and he doesn't need more problems like a girlfriend.
Don't think right away that he might not enjoy your company just keep an open mind on other possibilities and confront him with this knowledge.

It means exactly what you think it means, that he is not ready for a relationship right now. There are of course a plethora of reasons that could have gone into him feeling that way.

The same thing when a girl says she just wants 2b friend's. (In other words the person whants all the perks of a relationship (sex) with out any of the responsibility (commitment to one person). Ask him if he is OK with a open relationship, I bet he will go for it.

It means he's not interested in dating you...it's not unusual to hear those words from a guy, but find out a week or two later that he's dating someone else.

what a guy says that to you it can mean sooo many things. you just have to choose which fits best into your situation...either he's not interested in you, he isnt ready to settle down with just one girl,or he isnt ready to take it to the next level.

sounds like to me that he just want the sex. and he don't want to be with you. but if y'all are together then he probably just ain't ready to commit yet......he likes his freedom...and what i mean by that is he likes to be able to hang out and do things with other women
