You should definitely go to the doctor now to get checked.

Anytime your coughing has lasted more than few days and is even getting worse, it should be a concern. Your weakness is also a concern.

You could possibly have pneumonia. Pneumonia will cause coughing and extremely weakness. Pnemonia can be there with or without a feer. It could also be bronchitis, which can also be a serious situation.

When you hurt for more than a couple of days, then it's time to go to a doctor.

I understand that you don't want to spend the money, but your life and body is far important than the money you will spend to take care of your health.

Good luck to you!

The best way to reduce the discomfort of sore throat is to take pain meds like Tylenol or Advil (acetominofen or Ibuprofen).

Warm beverages and soups are also soothing to the throat.

Gargling with warm salt water is effective at soothing and also for helping to reduce the viral infection. Good oral hygiene when you are sick is also good -- brushing your teeth and using antiseptic mouthwash (like Listerine brand) are helpful to reduce the level of viruses in your mouth.

There are also tons of products such as throat lozenges and throat sprays that are soothing. For lozenges, I have found that the most effective active ingredient is:
hexylresorcinol
But there are not very many products that have it. Instead you will probably be able to find products containing other active ingredients.

The brand Cepacol is generally the most effective lozenges available (in the USA). Here is their website:

pass to the scientific expert now! Sorry i'm in basic terms a brilliant Hypochondriac. you could pass to the scientific expert. I had a sore throat and later found out that it replaced into strep throat. It harm like hell! There are those tiny scratches on your throat once you have strep throat and you could unquestionably get sicker from something stepping into those scratches.

when you have blister or white sacs in the throat. Strep is really on the rampage right now.

Its possible you have an infection that you need an antibiotic.

Go to a Urgent care center or health dept, they offer lower costs and payment options.

Then again you may have to break bad and go to an Emergency Room. Believe it or not, alot of hospitals have something called Charity Care where you fill out paperwork to prove you don't have lots of properties and financial holdings and they will wright off your bills or offer them to you at little cost.

GO NOW before it gets worse and you're laying in a hospital bed with pneumonia.

Yes, you should go to the doctor. So that they can determine whether it is a viral or bacterial infection. If it is a baterial infection you will need antibiotics.
