condoms or abstinence is the safest unless you really know your partner!

Never make love to someone who has oral or genital sores.
Use a durable condom that does not rupture.
Before performing oral sex, observe proper hygiene.
Be monogamous , avoid sexual promiscuity .
If partner agrees, have a laboratory tests for STDs.

condom and birth control. condoms arent 100 percent effective for pregnacys but pretty good for not getting hiv/ other stds. so take the pill too.. if ur in a committed relationship getting tested for hiv is never a bad thing! have fun!
