Well typically vegetarians don't eat meat for three reasons:
1. Well being of the animals
2. Environmental concern
3. Health
So animal crackers really don't fall under any of those categories, but there are those who don't eat anything with a face.....I suppose some probably do have moral qualms about animals being molded into cookies. But aren't people on crackers too? Like cartoon characters? We still eat those even though most don't eat people.

As long as the crackers are not made with any animal fat, a vegetarian would eat them.

Yes, I nibble off their little heads and toes.

What makes you think there are any animal products in an animal cracker -- unless you happen upon a product that's made with lard.
It's a cookie for Pete's sake.

Yes they do. There's no meat in animal crackers, so vegetarians can eat them. Just because they're shaped like animals doesn't mean that vegatarians can't eat them. It's what they're made of that matters.
