i have know this guy for a long time we go to swim practice together and push each other till it huts in practice. also i had to tell him not that long ago that i liked him. we didn't talk for a day wich i can expect but now we are tight and he was looking nervoius and i said i know we are just friends don't worie any more. i am a happy open girl with a great friend who pushes me to the limit in swimming so ya lets not talk about this any more and he agreed so did i real mess up?? is he going to be my prince charming or not

Sounds like he just wants to be friends.
You did your part by telling him that you like him. If he is interested then he'll let you know.

It seems like he just wants to be friends and does not see you like that. This could change eventually over time but then you may not want to ruin a friendship if something goes wrong while you two are dating. You have to think about what YOU want and what you would benefit from the most.

um you might be sending mixed signals......chances are, this guy doesn't quite know what to make of it. From his perspective, first you're attracted to him, then you've decided to put it on the shelf, etc. He probably doesn't know what you expect from him, which means if he's like most guys, he's not going to make any initiatives until he thinks it might be back on. Guys don't like to have their egos bruised by going out on a limb, unfortunately. Of course, this is all IF he likes you, too. I'd say make up your own mind about what you want, then persue it. Unfortunately, you went from "I have a crush on you" to "let's just be friends" in about 2 seconds, from the sound of it. Of course he's not sure what to think.

i am not sure i understand this question completly. im assuming that you are a younger girl. in that case, dont worry about it. you got your whole life before you and some day some guy will make you really happy. hows that for a cheesy answer. ( sorry im really tired tonight )

I think he will grow to like you if you are yourself and don't try too hard. If you keep on trying to get him to like you, you may only push him away. And be nice to him, but don't seem too eager to be too kind or nice to him.
