If you ate the whole jar then yes, but if you are having a scraping on toast or honey roast duck,you'll be fine. Being diabetic does not mean you avoid all sugar, it is impossible. It is even in fish fingers. Less than 10g of sugar per 100g is OK. You can go over that a bit if you have eaten a big meal with plenty of rice, pasta, spuds. I'm type 1 diabetic and I eat honey in moderation and my long term blood sugar levels are excellent at 6.

Well, I'd say yes. I say that because it's full of sugar and more sugar and more sugar will keep raising your bsl (blood sugar levels) and then you'll have to take a lot of insulin. I mean of course you can have some a little at a time but measure it out and count the carbs and be careful!!!

Honey is a sugar and, as such, is not recommended for diabetics, any more than sugar in your tea or icing on a cake.

Check you Blood Sugar level first. If it is ok then you may have honey in small amounts. It is a natural sugar and is good for you.

anything sugary is..even if it is a natural sugar like honey or fructose. But i suppose u can't live life without a little sugar, just a little then but watch you glucose level
