ive had a biopsy done of my throat as i am a smoker ,thrush was discovered in my oesaphagus ,any body any idea how i got it there its not in my mouth

Thrush is one of those things that can pass through the whole of the alimentary canal , sometimes for no apparent reason. If your doctor has not prescribed anything yet I suggest you eat a small pot of bio yoghourt each day (the one with live culture in it) until s/he does.

Well if you are always using mouthwashes and stuff like that then you could be getting rid of the bacteria in your mouth before it starts and since you really don't get a mouthwash down far enough then the throat is still vulnerable

Might have passed through the mouth or you used something that
cleaned it out of your mouth

might have missed your mouth if it was opened for to long
